This is a product to be manufactured in batches of 10..50 initially, ramping up to 1000 or more. Sheet metalwork gave the optimum cost/quality tradeoff for this product in the quantities planned. Our subcontractors use CNC folding and punching equipment, so accuracy is high and tooling costs are low.
Material is mild steel. All seams on the cover are continuously welded: good for appearance and EMC. The black finish on the other components is conductive.
