The Giastar PMU1 is a mains distribution unit with five independently switchable outputs, all controlled via a serial port. It has many additional functions, including an optional watchdog that can power-cycle a system controller if it fails to send a regular "I'm alive" message to the PMU1.
This unit is used in many Giastar remote-controlled systems, but is also supplied separately. Like all serial-controlled Giastar products, it supports our enhanced multi-drop RS232 protocol which allows several units to communicate with a controller via a single standard RS232 port.
Like all our mains-powered equipment, it has a wide-range power supply that operates off 90V - 260V without adjustment.
