This full-duplex converter translates the IFC1 IF Converter's broadband IF interface to the 1.5GHz/1.6GHz mobile satellite service bands.
The transmitter and receiver are tuned in 1MHz steps. Fine tuning is provided by the IF converter.
For low-power applications a surface-mounted HPA module (not shown) can be fitted. For higher-power applications SMA connectors can be fitted to allow the use of an external HPA.
