L-Band HPA Modules

A choice of HPA modules is currently available:

Efficient but highly non-linear Class C amplifier. Achieves greater than 40% efficiency at 5dBW into the antenna. Only suitable for constant-envelope TDM signals with a duty cycle no greater than 50%.
Linear class A-B amplifier, with lower efficiency but suitable for use with modulation classes requiring reasonable linearity (e.g. QAM). Achieves between 15% and 30% efficiency (dependent on back-off) and 100% duty cycle. Saturated output power (post duplexer) is 5dBW.

Higher power amplifiers can be provided to order.
